"A Mex-Tex, border-crosser, Liliana Valenzuela's poetry is best appreciated aloud.Poetry is her instrument, and the songs Valenzuela plucks are from her voyage beyond borders, a vantage point called Nepantla, eternally a visitor from the land in-between, even at home. Lyrical, lush, traviesa, here is a woman's voice uncensored."-- Sandra Cisneros

‘Circus in Terminal 15’ (UK) Initiatives 2015
Call for artists’ interest and primary information for submission.
Dear Artists from all Uncooked Culture’s projects & Uncooked Culture’s members,
We would like to congratulate all artists taking part in our successful ‘Circus Terminal WORLDWIDE’ held in those 8 countries after its Launch in Notting Hill, to begin with and I am excited to announce our upcoming initiatives,‘Circus in Terminal 15’.
Regarding the project’s achievement, awareness through its exposure to wide audiences and press coverage gained from Circus Terminal Worldwide since 2012 until 2014 with its global travelling art theme and participation of local artists at those 8 Stops, we wish to continue utilizing its experience and principle in mobility migrating its journeys from across the borders into the local core inside the UK border, the community where Uncooked Culture is based. This UK domestically travelling art project gives an advantage to ‘Circus in Terminal 15’ in taking its adventure with larger format artworks and with less stress on the weight of each artwork than the previous overseas journey of Circus Terminal Worldwide.
I would like to invite all of us who might be interested in taking part in ‘Circus in Terminal 15’ (UK throughout 2015) project with a subproject ‘From Pacific to Atlantic Terminal’ Uncooked Culture’s Carnival in the theatre (1 Saturday afternoon event - prospective date/time to be scheduled on Saturday 13 June afternoon from 1-3pm in the theatre at The Tabernacle Notting Hill(to be concluded). We have also planned to include a sign-event for Liz Parkinson’s and Ian Pyper’s colouring books launch(to be concluded)) that will hold exhibitions and other incorporating activities such as projection of our online publication – ‘Uncooked Book’ (…Continue

UNCOOKED CULTURE ART CATALOGUES
Uncooked Culture is calling for artists who would feel comfortable for their art to be represented without restrictions by UNCOOKED CULTURE...
What are the IDEAS behind?

It is relatively tough for an artist to sell their works, therefore we want to find potential routes to support all artists who are dedicated to their passion in creating art.
Why we are doing this for?
To help facilitating opportunities of the sales of artworks and exposure.
How will we do it?
Each artist can submit 5-7 jpeg of their art with all primary information such as:

Traveling suitcase of International Art explodes in Wellington for the FRINGE Festival
Circus Terminal – New Zealand is a radical on-going artist led project that brings together international artists with highly varied backgrounds, to celebrate the differences and similarities of all human beings through their art.
